We recognise that this is a challenging time for everyone and we wanted to ensure that all students and graduates still have access to the Careers Service and are able to access support with exploring their future career pathway and making effective applications.

It is important to us that we provide you with the help and advice that you need, and to deliver our support in ways that work best for you. With this in mind, we are inviting students to complete this Short Form to let us know how we can help you.

Following completion the Careers Adviser for your subject area will be in touch to follow up with you.

Careers Guidance Appointments

One-to-one Careers Guidance appointments are still in action, but will be provided over the telephone or via video conferencing using Zoom, which is available to download free of charge to any mobile device or laptop/PC.

You can book an appointment by contacting us by using one of the above methods.

Applications and CVs

Students wanting support with drafting applications, such as CVs, cover letters and answering application questions can raise an enquiry through the MyHull portal (guidance on how you raise an enquiry can be found here).

You can arrange appointments by contacting us through one of the above methods. All appointments will be conducted over the telephone or via a video call.

You will be provided with an appointment slot, however please be available 30 minutes either side of this time. Please ensure that you are somewhere quiet and confidential to take the call and please do not use hands free. The call may come from a withheld number.

If the call is not answered, you will lose your appointment slot and be asked to rearrange, so please ensure your phone is switched on and near you.
