This guide provides essential information to help you get started at the University of Hull's London Study Centre.
Our Systems
Key systems you'll need to access:
- Hubble Portal: For more information and opening enquiries
- myHull site: For enrolment and personal details
- Office 365: For your student email and free Office 365 tools
- Canvas: For accessing course materials
Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access these systems securely.
Enrolling as a Student
- Complete online enrolment (Stage 1) through the myHull site
- Complete Stage 2 and get your student card

Meet with the International Engagement & Compliance Team (IECT).
Bring the following to your appointment:
Exchange students without a visa must bring evidence of their UK arrival date (e.g. boarding pass).
eVisa Share Code
If you have a Student Visa, you must generate a share code on the UK Government website and bring it, along with your passport, to your appointment.
- Your original passport (copies are not accepted)
- Proof of your immigration status in the UK (eVisa share code if applicable)
- Attend the meeting: Complete the face-to-face verification process with the team.
- Receive your student card: Your card will be given to you once Stage 2 is completed.
Important: You must complete both stages of enrollment no later than your latest course start date.

- SCONUL: Access libraries across the UK.
- Virtual University Computer: Access university software and services remotely.
- Microsoft 365: Use essential applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Careers Team offers career advice and guidance. Use Handshake to book appointments and access resources.
International students can use Student Circus for job search tailored to visa requirements.

- Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for academic success and visa compliance.
